Orchadexoline Eye Drops 5ml<\/strong><\/p>\n

Generic Name:<\/strong> Chloramphenicol 0.5% \/ Dexamethasone 0.1% ophthalmic solution<\/p>\n

Formulation:<\/strong> Eye drops, 5 ml bottle<\/p>\n

Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Treatment of bacterial eye infections associated with inflammation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Effective for conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and other superficial ocular infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Combines an antibiotic (chloramphenicol) with an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid (dexamethasone).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dosage & Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Instill 1\u20132 drops in the affected eye(s) every 4\u20136 hours, or as prescribed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Shake well before use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Wash hands before applying and avoid touching the dropper tip.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Remove contact lenses before use; wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Contraindications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Hypersensitivity to chloramphenicol, dexamethasone, or any component.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Viral, fungal, or mycobacterial eye infections (unless directed by a doctor).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Patients with a history of bone marrow suppression should avoid chloramphenicol unless strictly necessary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Prolonged use may increase intraocular pressure or cause glaucoma or cataracts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Avoid long-term use due to the risk of secondary infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Temporary blurred vision may occur after instillation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
