Chartoreg Co 80\/10 mg (28 Tablets)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Active Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Valsartan 80 mg (Angiotensin II receptor blocker)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Amlodipine 10 mg (Calcium channel blocker)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Therapeutic Class:<\/strong>
    Antihypertensive combination (ARB + Calcium channel blocker)<\/p>\n

    Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Used in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with valsartan or amlodipine alone<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Dosage:<\/strong>
      One tablet once daily, preferably at the same time each day.
      May be taken with or without food.
      The dosage should be individualized according to patient response and physician guidance.<\/p>\n

      Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Contraindicated during pregnancy and in patients with severe hepatic impairment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Use with caution in renal impairment or heart failure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Monitor blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolytes regularly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Avoid abrupt discontinuation without medical advice.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Avoid combining with potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium unless directed by the doctor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Dizziness or headache<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Swelling of ankles or legs (from amlodipine)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Mild gastrointestinal discomfort<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Rarely: low blood pressure or elevated potassium levels<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
