Sinopril Co 20\/12.5 mg (30 Tablets)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Active Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Lisinopril 20 mg (Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Inhibitor \u2013 ACE inhibitor)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg (Thiazide diuretic)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Therapeutic Class:<\/strong>
    Antihypertensive combination (ACE inhibitor + Thiazide diuretic)<\/p>\n

    Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Treatment of essential hypertension in adults when monotherapy with lisinopril or hydrochlorothiazide alone is insufficient.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Lowers blood pressure by:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. \n

        Relaxing blood vessels (Lisinopril).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        Promoting mild diuresis and reducing fluid retention (Hydrochlorothiazide).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Dosage:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • \n

          Usual dose: one tablet once daily.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Preferably taken in the morning to avoid nighttime urination.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          May be taken with or without food.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Dosage should be individualized based on blood pressure response.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          • \n

            Contraindicated during pregnancy and in patients with a history of angioedema or severe renal impairment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Use with caution in patients with electrolyte imbalance, dehydration, or liver disease.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Monitor renal function, electrolytes (especially potassium and sodium), and blood pressure regularly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Avoid concurrent use with potassium supplements, potassium-sparing diuretics, or lithium unless prescribed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            May increase sensitivity to sunlight; skin protection is advised.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Possible Side Effects:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • \n

              Dizziness, especially when standing up quickly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Dry persistent cough (common with ACE inhibitors)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Fatigue or weakness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Headache<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Increased urination<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Low blood pressure (hypotension)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Electrolyte disturbances (low potassium, sodium, or magnesium)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
