Seloken ZOC 200 mg (28 Tablets)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Active Ingredient:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Metoprolol succinate 200 mg (Extended-release beta-1 selective adrenergic blocker)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Therapeutic Class:<\/strong>
    Beta-blocker (cardioselective, extended-release formulation)<\/p>\n

    Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Management of hypertension (high blood pressure)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Treatment of angina pectoris (chest pain due to coronary artery disease)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Control of chronic heart failure (as part of combination therapy)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Management of certain arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Secondary prevention after myocardial infarction (heart attack)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Dosage:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Usual adult dose: one tablet once daily.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Should be swallowed whole with water; do not chew or crush.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Can be taken with or immediately after food to improve absorption.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Dose may be adjusted gradually according to clinical response and blood pressure control.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, heart block greater than first degree, cardiogenic shock, and severe heart failure decompensation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Use with caution in patients with asthma, COPD, diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, or thyroid disorders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided; taper gradually over 1\u20132 weeks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Monitor blood pressure, heart rate, and ECG regularly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          May mask symptoms of hypoglycemia in diabetic patients.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Fatigue or tiredness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Dizziness or lightheadedness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
