data-end=\"665\"><strong data-start=\"548\" data-end=\"565\">Hypertension:<\/strong> Usual starting dose is 10 mg once daily; may be adjusted to 20\u201340 mg daily depending on response.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"767\">\n<p data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"767\"><strong data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"686\">Heart failure:<\/strong> Start with 2.5\u20135 mg daily; may increase gradually to 20 mg daily as tolerated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"876\">\n<p data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"876\"><strong data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"802\">After myocardial infarction:<\/strong> 5 mg within 24 hours of onset, followed by 5\u201310 mg daily as prescribed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"942\">\n<p data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"942\">May be taken with or without food, at the same time each day.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"962\"><strong data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"960\">Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1440\">\n<li data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1079\">\n<p data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"1079\">Contraindicated during pregnancy, in patients with history of angioedema, or hypersensitivity to ACE inhibitors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1080\" data-end=\"1167\">\n<p data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1167\">Use cautiously in patients with kidney disease, dehydration, or low blood pressure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1226\">\n<p data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1226\">Monitor kidney function and serum potassium regularly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1344\">\n<p data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1344\">Avoid potassium supplements, potassium-sparing diuretics, or lithium unless prescribed and monitored by a doctor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1440\">\n<p data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1440\">May cause dizziness\u2014avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1470\"><strong data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1468\">Possible Side
