data-start=\"153\" data-end=\"156\" \/>Combination Antihypertensive \u2013 Beta-blocker + Thiazide-like Diuretic + Potassium-sparing Diuretic<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"257\" data-end=\"275\"><strong data-start=\"257\" data-end=\"273\">Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"276\" data-end=\"481\">\n<li data-start=\"276\" data-end=\"377\">\n<p data-start=\"278\" data-end=\"377\"><strong data-start=\"278\" data-end=\"326\">Essential Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)<\/strong> \u2013 especially when monotherapy is not sufficient.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"378\" data-end=\"481\">\n<p data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"481\">May also be useful in patients with <strong data-start=\"416\" data-end=\"440\">mild fluid retention<\/strong> where a diuretic effect is beneficial.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"496\"><strong data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"494\">Dosage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"744\">\n<li data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"606\">\n<p data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"606\">Usual adult dose: <strong data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"542\">One tablet once daily<\/strong>, preferably in the <strong data-end=\"788\">Atenolol:<\/strong> Selective beta\u2081-blocker that lowers heart rate, cardiac output, and blood pressure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"987\">\n<p data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"987\"><strong data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"896\">Chlorthalidone:<\/strong> Thiazide-like diuretic that increases sodium and water excretion, reducing blood volume.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1186\">\n<p data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1186\"><strong data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1004\">Amiloride:<\/strong> Potassium-sparing diuretic that prevents potassium loss caused by other diuretics.<br data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1090\" \/>\u2192 The combination provides effective blood pressure reduction while minimizing potassium
