Bisocard 5 mg (30 Tablets)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Active Ingredient:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Bisoprolol 5 mg<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Therapeutic Class:<\/strong>
    Beta\u2011blocker \u2013 Cardioselective<\/p>\n

    Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Hypertension (high blood pressure)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Chronic stable angina<\/strong> (chest pain)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Chronic heart failure<\/strong> (as part of standard therapy for selected patients)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      May also be used after myocardial infarction<\/strong> to improve survival in stable patients.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Dosage:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • \n

        Usual adult dose:<\/strong> 1 tablet once daily, preferably in the morning.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Can be taken with or without food<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Dose may be adjusted according to blood pressure, heart rate, and clinical response<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Mechanism of Action:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • \n

          Selectively blocks beta\u20111 adrenergic receptors in the heart.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Reduces heart rate, cardiac output, and blood pressure<\/strong>, decreasing cardiac workload and oxygen demand.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            Contraindicated in:<\/p>\n

              \n
            • \n

              Severe bradycardia (slow heart rate)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Heart block greater than first degree<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Cardiogenic shock or decompensated heart failure<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Severe hypotension<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Hypersensitivity to bisoprolol<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Use with caution in:<\/p>\n

              • \n

                Asthma or COPD (risk of bronchospasm, though lower than non-selective beta-blockers)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Diabetes mellitus (may mask hypoglycemia symptoms)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Peripheral vascular disease<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided; taper gradually to prevent rebound hypertension or angina.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Fatigue, dizziness, or lightheadedness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                  Cold extremities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                  Gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, diarrhea)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                  Rare: shortness of breath, depression, or sleep disturbances<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Store below 25\u00b0C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
