Eraloner 25 mg (20 Tablets)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Active Ingredient:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Eplerenone 25 mg<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Therapeutic Class:<\/strong>
    Potassium-sparing diuretic \u2013 Aldosterone receptor antagonist<\/p>\n

    Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Heart failure<\/strong> with reduced ejection fraction, particularly after myocardial infarction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Hypertension (high blood pressure)<\/strong> in adults<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      May be used to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality<\/strong> in selected patients<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Dosage:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • \n

        Usual adult dose:<\/strong> 25 mg once daily, as directed by the physician<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Can be taken with or without food<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Dose adjustments may be necessary based on renal function, potassium levels, and clinical response<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Mechanism of Action:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Blocks aldosterone receptors<\/strong> in the distal renal tubules<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Promotes sodium and water excretion<\/strong> while retaining potassium<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Reduces blood pressure<\/strong> and cardiac remodeling<\/strong> in heart failure patients<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Contraindicated in:<\/p>\n

              Hyperkalemia (high potassium levels)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Severe renal impairment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Addison\u2019s disease<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Hypersensitivity to eplerenone<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

              Use with caution in:<\/p>\n

                Mild to moderate renal impairment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                Patients on other potassium-sparing drugs, ACE inhibitors, or ARBs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                Diabetes or liver impairment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Monitor serum potassium, kidney function, and blood pressure<\/strong> regularly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
