    Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Type 2 diabetes mellitus<\/strong> in adults to improve blood glucose control:<\/p>\n

        As monotherapy<\/strong> when metformin is not tolerated or contraindicated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Or in combination<\/strong> with other oral antidiabetic drugs (e.g., metformin, SGLT2 inhibitors, insulin).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Sometimes prescribed off-label<\/strong> for weight management<\/strong> under specialist supervision.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Inject once weekly<\/strong> via subcutaneous injection<\/strong> in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          May be administered any time of day<\/strong>, regardless of meals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Rotate injection sites<\/strong> each week to prevent skin irritation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          If a dose is missed, it can be administered within 4 days (96 hours)<\/strong>; otherwise, skip and continue with the next scheduled dose.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          The 10 mg dose<\/strong> is typically used after titration<\/strong> from lower doses (2.5 \u2192 5 \u2192 7.5 \u2192 10 mg), before progressing to 12.5 mg or 15 mg if tolerated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Not indicated for type 1 diabetes<\/strong> or diabetic ketoacidosis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
