    Human Insulin Isophane (NPH) 70% (intermediate-acting)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Human Insulin Regular 30% (short-acting)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Pharmacological Class:<\/strong>
    Biphasic (premixed) human insulin preparation<\/p>\n

    Indications:<\/strong>
    Used to improve glycemic control in adults and children with diabetes mellitus (type 1 or type 2) requiring insulin for blood glucose management.<\/p>\n

    Dosage Form:<\/strong>
    Injection vial containing 10 ml of suspension (100 IU of insulin per ml).<\/p>\n

    Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Administer subcutaneously, usually 1\u20132 times daily before meals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Inject in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Rotate injection sites to prevent lipodystrophy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Dosage and timing should be individualized based on blood glucose monitoring and physician\u2019s recommendation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Do not inject intravenously or intramuscularly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Gently roll the vial between hands before use to resuspend the insulin uniformly (do not shake vigorously).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
