Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Treatment of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Amoebiasis (intestinal or liver infection caused by Entamoeba histolytica<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Giardiasis (intestinal infection caused by Giardia lamblia<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Trichomoniasis (infection caused by Trichomonas vaginalis<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Bacterial vaginosis and pelvic infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Dental infections and postoperative anaerobic infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n

    Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Adults: Usually 500 mg every 8 hours (three times daily) or as prescribed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      The exact dose and duration depend on the type and severity of infection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Take with food or after meals to reduce stomach upset.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Swallow tablets whole with water.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
