Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • \n

    Treatment of leprosy (Hansen\u2019s disease), usually in combination with other antileprosy drugs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Dermatitis herpetiformis (chronic blistering skin condition associated with celiac disease).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Certain cases of acne and other chronic skin infections caused by susceptible organisms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Prophylaxis and treatment of Pneumocystis jirovecii<\/em> pneumonia in immunocompromised patients (e.g., HIV).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n

    Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Usual adult dose: 50\u2013100 mg once daily, depending on the condition and patient response.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Take orally with or after food to minimize stomach upset.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Follow the prescribed dose schedule carefully; do not stop abruptly without medical advice.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
