Ciprofloxacin 0.3% (3 mg per 1 g of ointment)<\/p>\n

Indications:<\/strong>
Used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections, including:<\/p>\n

    Corneal ulcers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Blepharitis (eyelid inflammation)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Mechanism of Action:<\/strong>
    Ciprofloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes necessary for DNA replication, transcription, and repair, leading to bacterial cell death.<\/p>\n

    Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Adults and children (\u22651 year):<\/strong> Apply a small amount (approximately 1 cm ribbon) to the affected eye(s) 3\u20134 times daily, or as directed by a physician.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Route:<\/strong> Ophthalmic (for external eye use only)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Wash hands before and after application.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Avoid touching the tip of the tube to the eye or any surface.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
