Ciprocin 0.3% Eye & Ear Drops 5ml<\/strong><\/p>\n

Generic Name:<\/strong> Ciprofloxacin 0.3% ophthalmic and otic solution<\/p>\n

Formulation:<\/strong> Eye and ear drops, 5 ml bottle<\/p>\n

Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Treatment of bacterial infections of the eye (conjunctivitis, keratitis) and ear (otitis externa, otitis media) caused by susceptible organisms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dosage & Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Eyes:<\/strong> 1\u20132 drops in the affected eye(s) every 2\u20134 hours for the first 2 days, then reduce as prescribed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ears:<\/strong> 3\u20134 drops in the affected ear(s) every 2\u20134 hours for the first 2 days, then as directed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Wash hands before use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye, ear, or any surface.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Contraindications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin, other fluoroquinolones, or any component of the formulation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Avoid use in viral or fungal eye\/ear infections unless specifically directed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Use with caution in patients with a history of tendon disorders or fluoroquinolone allergy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Not recommended for use in penetrating eye injuries without medical supervision.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Remove contact lenses before eye application; wait 15 minutes before reinsertion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
