data-end=\"870\"><strong data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"868\">Dosage (for adults):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"1087\">\n<li data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"1000\">\n<p data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"1000\">Adults are usually prescribed tablets (250 mg or 500 mg), but this suspension can be used if swallowing tablets is difficult.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1087\">\n<p data-start=\"1003\" data-end=\"1087\">Typical total dose: <strong data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1055\">500 mg once daily for 3 days<\/strong> (adjust per doctor\u2019s
