Indications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Congestal is used for relief of nasal and sinus congestion<\/strong> caused by:<\/p>\n

    Allergic rhinitis (hay fever)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Sinusitis<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Other upper respiratory tract infections<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Mechanism of Action:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    • \n

      Pseudoephedrine stimulates alpha-adrenergic receptors<\/strong>, causing:<\/p>\n

      • \n

        Constriction of blood vessels<\/strong> in the nasal passages<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Reduction of swelling and congestion<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Helps improve airflow<\/strong> and relieve stuffiness.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

          Typical adult dose:<\/strong> 1 tablet (20 mg) every 4\u20136 hours<\/strong> as needed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
