Indications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Butaximark cream is used for treatment of superficial bacterial skin infections<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n

    Impetigo<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Folliculitis (infected hair follicles)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Minor cuts, abrasions, or wounds infected with susceptible bacteria<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Secondary infections in eczema or dermatitis<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Mechanism of Action:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Mupirocin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis<\/strong> by binding to isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      This prevents bacterial growth and eliminates infection<\/strong>, primarily against Staphylococcus aureus<\/strong> and Streptococcus species<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

        Apply a thin layer<\/strong> to the affected area 2\u20133 times daily<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Wash hands before and after application.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Cover with a sterile bandage if advised by a doctor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
