Recoxibright 60 mg Tablets

Active Ingredient:
Etoricoxib 60 mg

Drug Class:
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) – Selective COX-2 inhibitor

Indications:
• Osteoarthritis
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Acute gouty arthritis
• Acute musculoskeletal pain

Dosage:
The usual dose is 60 mg once daily for osteoarthritis.
For other conditions, the dose may range from 60–120 mg once daily depending on severity and medical condition.
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Contraindications:
• Hypersensitivity to etoricoxib
• Active gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding
• Severe hepatic impairment
• Severe renal impairment
• Ischemic heart disease or cerebrovascular disease
• Uncontrolled hypertension
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Precautions:
• Increased risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events
• Monitor blood pressure regularly
• Use cautiously in patients with history of peptic ulcer
• Caution in elderly patients

Common Side Effects:
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Dyspepsia
• Abdominal pain
• Edema
• Elevated blood pressure

Storage:
Store below 30°C.
Keep in a dry place away from light and out of reach of children.
