Indications:

• Treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men, characterized by the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance.

Mechanism of Action:

• Sildenafil inhibits the enzyme PDE5, leading to increased levels of cyclic GMP in the corpus cavernosum.

• This enhances the natural erectile response to sexual stimulation by promoting smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the penis.

•   Contraindications:

• Concomitant use with nitrates (risk of severe hypotension)

• Severe cardiovascular disorders

• Severe hepatic impairment

• Hypersensitivity to sildenafil or any component of the product

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, anatomical deformation of the penis, or predisposition to priapism.
