Gatistar 0.5% Eye Drops 5ml

Active Ingredients
Gatifloxacin 0.5%

Indications
Used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections, including:

• Conjunctivitis

• Keratitis

• Blepharitis caused by susceptible bacteria

Dosage
Adults and children: Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 2–4 hours for the first 2 days, then 1–2 drops every 4–8 hours or as directed by a doctor.
Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to gatifloxacin, other fluoroquinolones, or any component of the formulation.
Viral or fungal eye infections unless combined with appropriate therapy.

Side Effects
Mild burning or stinging upon instillation
Temporary blurred vision
Eye irritation or redness
Rare allergic reactions

Drug Interactions
Use cautiously with other topical ophthalmic medications.
Avoid concurrent use with other fluoroquinolone eye products unless prescribed.

Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light.
Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
