Composition

Each gram of cream contains:

• Betamethasone valerate 0.1% w/w

• Gentamicin sulfate 0.1% w/w

• Clotrimazole 1% w/w

Indications

Used for inflammatory skin infections caused by bacteria or fungi, including:

• Infected eczema and dermatitis

• Fungal skin infections with secondary bacterial infection

• Intertrigo and tinea infections with inflammation

Mechanism of Action

• Betamethasone valerate: Potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, and itching.

• Gentamicin sulfate: Broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against common skin bacteria.

• Clotrimazole: Antifungal agent that inhibits fungal growth by damaging the fungal cell membrane.

Dosage & Administration

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).

• Gently rub until absorbed.

• Continue treatment for several days after symptoms subside but not beyond 2 weeks unless directed by a doctor.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to any of the components.

• Viral or tuberculous skin infections.

• Perioral dermatitis or rosacea.

Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

• Do not apply to large surface areas or under occlusive dressings.

• Prolonged use may cause skin thinning or systemic absorption.

• Use with caution in children and on facial areas.

Possible Side Effects

• Local irritation, burning, or itching

• Skin thinning with prolonged use

• Secondary infection or allergic reaction (rare)

• Store below 25°C in a dry place.

• Keep out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight.
