Chartoreg Trio 80/12.5/5 mg (28 Tablets)

Active Ingredients:

• Valsartan 80 mg (Angiotensin II receptor blocker)

• Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg (Thiazide diuretic)

• Amlodipine 5 mg (Calcium channel blocker)

Therapeutic Class:
Antihypertensive combination (three-drug therapy for blood pressure control)

Indications:

• Management of essential hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients requiring combination therapy

• Helps reduce cardiovascular risks associated with uncontrolled hypertension

Dosage:
One tablet once daily, preferably at the same time each day.
Can be taken with or without food.
Dose adjustments are based on blood pressure response and physician recommendation.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated in pregnancy and severe liver impairment.

• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment or electrolyte imbalance.

• Avoid use with potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics unless prescribed.

• Monitor blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolytes regularly.

• Avoid abrupt discontinuation without consulting the physician.

Possible Side Effects:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness

• Swelling of ankles or feet (due to amlodipine)

• Fatigue or headache

• Mild increase in urination (from hydrochlorothiazide)

• Rarely: low blood pressure, electrolyte imbalance, or allergic reaction
