Chartoreg Co 40/10 mg (28 Tablets)

Active Ingredients:

• Valsartan 40 mg (Angiotensin II receptor blocker)

• Amlodipine 10 mg (Calcium channel blocker)

Therapeutic Class:
Antihypertensive combination (ARB + Calcium channel blocker)

Indications:

• Management of essential hypertension (high blood pressure)

• For patients requiring combined therapy when single-agent treatment is insufficient

Dosage:
One tablet once daily, with or without food.
Take at the same time each day for consistent blood pressure control.
The dose may be adjusted by the physician based on clinical response and tolerance.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated in pregnancy and severe liver impairment.

• Use with caution in kidney disease or heart failure.

• Regular monitoring of blood pressure, renal function, and electrolytes is recommended.

• Avoid abrupt discontinuation.

• Do not combine with potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics unless prescribed.

Possible Side Effects:

• Dizziness, lightheadedness, or headache

• Swelling of ankles or feet (due to amlodipine)

• Fatigue or flushing

• Mild digestive discomfort

• Rarely: low blood pressure or increased potassium levels
