Azarga Eye Drops 5ml

Generic Name: Brinzolamide 1% / Timolol 0.5% ophthalmic suspension

Formulation: Eye drops, 5 ml bottle

Indications:

• Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Dosage & Administration:

• Usually 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily.

• Shake well before use.

• Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface to prevent contamination.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to brinzolamide, timolol, or any component of the formulation.

• Severe respiratory conditions (e.g., asthma, severe COPD).

• Certain heart conditions (e.g., sinus bradycardia, heart block, cardiac failure).

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, or kidney problems.

• May cause blurred vision temporarily after administration.

• Remove contact lenses before using; wait 15 minutes before reinserting lenses.

Side Effects:

• Eye burning or stinging

• Blurred vision

• Bitter taste

• Dry eyes

• Rare systemic effects: slow heart rate, low blood pressure, fatigue

Storage:

• Store at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed.

• Protect from light.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Use only if clearly needed; consult a doctor.

• Timolol may be absorbed systemically; caution during breastfeeding.

Drug Interactions:

• Other beta-blockers may increase risk of systemic effects.

• Use caution with antihypertensive or cardiac medications.

Notes:

• Regular monitoring of intraocular pressure is recommended.

• Do not abruptly stop therapy without consulting your ophthalmologist.
