Doxiproct Plus Rectal Ointment 30 gm

Active Ingredients:

• Doxepin HCl – a topical anesthetic and anti-itch agent

• Hydrocortisone – a corticosteroid to reduce inflammation and swelling

• Polymyxin B Sulfate – an antibiotic for preventing secondary bacterial infection

Class:

• Topical corticosteroid with local anesthetic and antibiotic

Indications:

• Treatment of hemorrhoids and anal fissures

• Reduces pain, itching, swelling, and inflammation

• Helps prevent infection in affected areas

How to Use:

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–2 times daily or as directed by a physician

• Wash hands thoroughly before and after application

• Use for the duration prescribed; avoid prolonged use

Common Side Effects:

• Mild burning, stinging, or irritation at the site of application

• Rarely, skin thinning or allergic reactions

Precautions:

• Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes

• Do not use on broken or infected skin unless prescribed

• Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within a week
