Composition

Each rectal suppository contains:

• Hydrocortisone 5 mg – reduces inflammation and itching

• Pramoxine 3 mg – local anesthetic for pain and discomfort

Indications

Used for:

• Relief of pain, itching, and inflammation associated with hemorrhoids

• Treatment of anal discomfort due to minor irritation or swelling

Mechanism of Action

• Hydrocortisone: a corticosteroid that reduces swelling, redness, and itching.

• Pramoxine: blocks nerve signals in the rectal area, providing local pain relief.

Dosage & Administration

• Adults: 1 suppository rectally, 1–2 times daily or as directed by a physician.

• Insert after bowel movement for maximum effect.

• Avoid exceeding the prescribed dose.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone, pramoxine, or any component of the formulation

• Do not use on open wounds or infected areas
