Fortymox 0.5% Eye Drops 10ml

Active Ingredients
Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v

Indications
Used for:

• Bacterial conjunctivitis

• Redness, discharge, and irritation caused by bacterial eye infections

• Prevention of secondary infection in minor ocular trauma

Dosage
Adults and children over 1 year:

• 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 2–4 hours for the first 2 days, then 1–2 drops every 4–6 hours for the remaining 5 days, or as directed by a doctor.
  Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin or other quinolone antibiotics.

Side Effects
Mild burning or stinging
Temporary blurred vision
Eye dryness or irritation
Rare: allergic reaction, swelling of eyelids

Drug Interactions
If using other eye drops, allow a 10–15 minute interval between medications.

Storage
Store at room temperature, away from heat and sunlight.
Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
