Active Ingredients
Ganciclovir 0.15%

Indications
Used for the treatment of ocular viral infections caused by herpes simplex virus, including:

• Herpetic keratitis (dendritic ulcers of the cornea)

Dosage
Adults and children: Apply a small amount (about 1 cm) to the affected eye 5 times daily at 5-hour intervals for 2–3 weeks, or as prescribed by a doctor.
Do not touch the tip of the tube to the eye or surrounding areas to avoid contamination.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ganciclovir or any component of the formulation.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

Side Effects
Mild eye irritation or discomfort
Blurred vision
Eye redness
Rare: allergic reaction

Drug Interactions
Avoid concurrent use with other antiviral ophthalmic medications unless directed by a doctor.

Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light.
