Generic Name: Azelastine Hydrochloride 0.1% nasal spray

Formulation: Nasal spray, 60 ml bottle

Indications:

• Relief of nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, itching, runny or congested nose.

• Effective in seasonal and perennial allergies.

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults and children ≥12 years: 1–2 sprays in each nostril twice daily, or as prescribed.

• Shake well before use.

• Blow your nose before application.

• Avoid spraying into the eyes.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to azelastine or any component of the formulation.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with severe liver disease.

• May cause temporary bitter taste or mild nasal irritation.

• Avoid exceeding recommended dose.

Side Effects:

• Bitter taste in the mouth

• Mild nasal irritation or burning

• Sneezing

• Headache (rare)

• Drowsiness (rare)

Storage:

• Store at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed and protected from light.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Use only if clearly needed; consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Drug Interactions:

• Minimal, but caution with sedatives or alcohol due to potential drowsiness.
