Chartoreg Co 80/10 mg (28 Tablets)

Active Ingredients:

• Valsartan 80 mg (Angiotensin II receptor blocker)

• Amlodipine 10 mg (Calcium channel blocker)

Therapeutic Class:
Antihypertensive combination (ARB + Calcium channel blocker)

Indications:

• Treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Used in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with valsartan or amlodipine alone

Dosage:
One tablet once daily, preferably at the same time each day.
May be taken with or without food.
The dosage should be individualized according to patient response and physician guidance.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated during pregnancy and in patients with severe hepatic impairment.

• Use with caution in renal impairment or heart failure.

• Monitor blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolytes regularly.

• Avoid abrupt discontinuation without medical advice.

• Avoid combining with potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium unless directed by the doctor.

Possible Side Effects:

• Dizziness or headache

• Swelling of ankles or legs (from amlodipine)

• Fatigue or flushing

• Mild gastrointestinal discomfort

• Rarely: low blood pressure or elevated potassium levels

Storage:
Store below 25°C, in a dry place away from light and moisture.
