Active Ingredient:
Semaglutide 14 mg

Pharmacological Class:
GLP-1 receptor agonist (antidiabetic agent)

Indication:
Used in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control, as an adjunct to diet and exercise. It may also support weight reduction in diabetic patients.

Dosage:
Usually one tablet taken once daily. The 14 mg dose is typically used after titration from lower doses (3 mg → 7 mg → 14 mg).

Administration:

• Take orally once daily on an empty stomach with a small amount of water (up to 120 ml).

• Wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking, or taking any other oral medications.

Precautions:

• Not indicated for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.

• Use caution in patients with a history of pancreatitis, thyroid tumors, or severe gastrointestinal disorders.

• Monitor blood sugar and kidney function regularly.

Possible Side Effects:
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, diarrhea, constipation, and possible mild hypoglycemia (especially if combined with other antidiabetic drugs).
